Resiliency

Resiliency is rising as a priority for government and nonprofit entities because the ability to bounce “forward” instead of “back” after natural hazard events and other shocks and stresses is imperative in the face of increased variability associated with the impacts of climate change. BCC communities have embraced the importance of incorporating resilient design features and processes into the projects and planning efforts funded through the CDBG-DR grant program, and continue to share their experiences to a national audience.
